Y’all this month was just a hot mess, but at least the craziness flew by quickly.

👩‍👦 I honestly don’t even know how to sum up our life this month.

We started out April with baseball season in full swing and Web was excelling! He was punching the ball into the outfield with ease and it was so fun to watch. Then, Mother Nature’s crazy butt showed up and slammed us with two blizzards and a huge snowstorm, and one blizzard knocked our power out for several days. The kids have now been off the field for three weeks, but we’re hoping to get games in starting next week.

Web lucked out and missed the blizzard that knocked out our power. He had placed first at the Regional Speech meet and was at the State competition. So, he and his friends got to live it up in the city with a pool while I cooked on our wood burning stove.🤣

🐶In the dog world it was a party for the young ones. They had to play in the snow and dig tunnels nonstop. My older two stayed inside and grumbled with me.

📚 I didn’t think I’d read that much since baseball season was starting this month, but a few blizzards will really tack on extra books! I’m definitely not complaining because this was a fabulous month full of books I loved.

As you know my goal is to read debut books each month and this month they were:
