Saturday Reading
Itโs the weekend!!๐โค๏ธ This weekendโs #puppyandcurrentlyreading is The Sun Down Motel, and it turns out that @bookmarkedbyal is reading it too, so Iโve gotten to chat with her.
Sun Down Motel is another one that is living up to the hype.
This is the kind of novel that begs to be read at one in the morning, under the covers, with a flashlight in your hand, and surrounded by your dogs so you feel safe. Sleep is something you might find optional while reading this book. So far, the breakneck pacing is backed up by a sensation of constant dread which creates a keep-you-guessing air thatโs simply magnetic...and Iโm still guessing!
Sadly I didnโt manage my my library books well and had to return this book yesterday when I was only at page 108. On the bright side, our bookstore had a copy I could buy, and continue reading.
