This week I started reading/listening to ๐๐พ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ (book 1 in The Witches series) and was immediately swept up into a brand new world full of quirky characters and tons of atmosphere. Now, anyone who has picked up a Terry Pratchett book (Good Omens is an excellent example) knows theyโre about to go on a laughter filled adventure with some excellent bits of advice for living, and I canโt wait to how this series plays out!

From Granny Weatherwax and Rincewind to Sam Vimes and Death himself, Pratchettโs Discworld characters have become truly iconic. Earlier this year, we started releasing the Discworld books in a new paperback format with a spectacular new look, and each collection will focus on a set of these beloved characters. The third of these collections is: The Witches
Discworldโs witches, based around the rural and mostly vertical kingdom of Lancre, deliver babies, treat warts and keep an eye on troublesome kings, vampires, or incursions from other worlds, which they do not hold with. They donโt have leaders, but Granny Weatherwax is the most highly regarded and steely of the leaders they donโt have, assisted by Nanny Oggโmother of fifteen and brewer of lethally strong cider.

It has been ages since Iโve actually cooked up a full meal, so I figured it was time!
Last night I whipped up a recipe I made last year that was super easy and a huge hit.
This Chicken Pot Pie with Cheddar Bay Biscuits is the ultimate comfort food and since it got really cold out, I was craving something cozy to eat.
This is one I highly recommend you make yourself!
