Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a relaxing morning with beautiful weather to enjoy!
This weekend we are finally home. It is all about catching-up on chores since we were gone pretty much all week with baseball, but I’m not complaining. I even got excited about finally having a family dinner tonight, and when I asked what they wanted, they said hotdogs and mac & cheese.
Here are my weekend reads and I’ve already stated two of them!
𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 - I’m reading this one with @jennyw_reads for our monthly read. I accidentally started it a week early and started flying through the pages. It is hands down a must read, and I’m already highly recommending it to everyone.
𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 - I’m about 50 pages into this contemporary lit story set in India and I have a feeling that this book is one that will stay with me for a long time...And it’s a debut!
A savvy former street child working at a law office in Mumbai fights for redemption and a chance to live life on her own terms in this “smart, haunting, and compulsively readable”
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗚𝗼 (Pub 5/17) - Really looking forward to picking up this family drama tonight!
“In When We Let Go, Rochelle Weinstein writes of Avery, a woman who finds herself on a trip to confront the painful losses of her past while forging an unlikely intergenerational bond with her fiancé’s teenage daughter. With the strong voice and insightful prose for which she has become known, Weinstein builds a powerful and memorable story of homecoming, first love, second chances, the truths that set us free, and the families we find for ourselves.” ―Pam Jenoff
Thank you, publishers, for these gifted books.

AOTD: I love purging and getting organized. There is just something so gratifying about it.
