๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น is quite the unique take on a breakup story, since it comes from the POV of the guy, and Andy definitely isnโt taking it well. Andy did get on my nerves, especially for someone his age, and how immature he was acting (but then what guy isnโt immature for his age these days). However, his insufferable actions were the whole point of the story, and his character was purposefully written this way.
My favorite part of the book was getting to see Jen (the ex) side of the story, and it really brought the whole story together, and gave it more depth.
After reading this book, I had a new sense of empathy for my friends going through breakups. Ending any type of relationship is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Alderton did a brilliant job of portraying the ugly side of the post break-up phase.
