May Wrap Up
Talk about a wild month! We went from snow to flooding to summer weather and back to spring weather. I have whiplash!
⚾️ As you already know, May was all about baseball for us. Web had a stellar season and set several records for himself and the team! They came in third at regionals and I could not be happier for them. They’ve already moved on to summer ball for American Legion, and I’m looking forward to attending those games throughout this summer.
🐶In the doggie world, our crew of four have been loving our warmer days and spend as much time laying in the sun as they can. Kate recently went in for a full allergy test and we are waiting on the results. She battles yeast infections in her ears nonstop so we are hoping this test gives us some answers.
📚This was definitely an interesting month for reading. I read some amazing books and some not so amazing books. I did add a new book to my lifetime favorite stack: Sparks Like Stars I read it with @jennyw_reads and we both fell in love with the story and characters.
As you know my goal is to read debut books each month and this month they were:
Remarkably Bright Creatures
How to Fake it in Hollywood
Black Cake
Such Big Dreams
I had several excellent buddy reads this month and loved our discussions!
Please note - A few books are not pictured since they were ebooks.
