My Magnolia Summer takes on the layered and complex relationships between mother and daughter, grandmother and granddaughter, and sisters. Even with the focus on family drama, there was still room for a bit of romance.

My favorite part of this book was all the warmth and Southern charm. As I read, I felt like I was living through the characters while in Charleston.
