Wow!! If you are looking to get taken by surprise by a brand-new series from a debut author, then you have got to grab Perfect Shot. It is a high-octane rollercoaster ride, so strap in and get ready to take off!
What appealed to you the most in this story?
This book kicks off like a Mission Impossible movie and takes you on one heck of an intense espionage ride till the very end! Seriously, I felt like I was watching the story unfold as it was happening just like at the movies. The only thing missing was the popcorn!
I also really loved how you could see Urszenyi’s work as a paramedic and a police tactical medic influence the story along with his trainings in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives (CBRNE) incident response.

How was the pace?
FAST!! I really could not turn the pages fast enough to keep up with my rapid heartbeat as I read. Saying I was captivated is an understatement.
Do you recommend this book?
I cannot get over how well thought out and layered this story was, and I won’t be surprised when someone like Netflix buys the rights and makes one kick ass series out of it! Now to try to wait patiently for the next book to come out, so I can see what kind of butt Special Agent Alexandra Martel kicks next!

Yesterday
I have been flying through the audio for Mother Daughter Traitor Spy! This is a phenomenal and edgy story based on the real life spy work of a mother-daughter duo in California during WWII.
Last night was our seventh night of Hanukkah and Web also returned home from college for the winter break!!
We also had a phenomenal showing of the Geminid Meteor Shower. It was so visible that I was able to watch it from our back deck as I froze my butt off.
