She’s Not Sorry

Oh how I loathe to say this since I have really enjoyed a few of Kubica’s books, but this one was a big letdown.

From the very beginning, the story and characters were not believable, and for an attempted murder mystery, I feel like a bunch of nothing happened in this book. Literally, anytime I thought something would start to happen, nothing ended up happening. The little dialogue there was felt stilted, choppy and repetitive. It just made reading this book frustrating and boring.

As for the ending, I was able to predict the twist and the whole conclusion felt rushed.

I will say that this was a somewhat fast-paced book (still had a lot of unnecessary filler) and the short chapters and suspense kept me reading.
