2023 Favorites

I still can’t believe we have come to the end of 2023. It is crazy how fast this year flew by and everything that happened in my life. Talk about an amazing year!

As I looked back at everything I’ve read through the year, I noticed that I had way more five star reads than I had in past years.

I finally read the Throne of Glass series after @mamas_top_shelf had been begging me to read it for a couple years. She was super sweet and reread the whole series with me. Honestly, I would put every book in the series in this picture if I could.

This year I found myself on a huge romance kick and started working my way through Lucy Score’s backlist and discovered Elle Kennedy’s amazing and steamy romcoms.

My favorite books for this year have also found their way onto my lifetime favorite shelf. These books had me shedding tears, attached to the characters, flying through the pages, laughing and definitely got me thinking as I was reading them. The best part is the majority of these books I got to buddy read with some of my amazing friends here on Bookstagram! If you have not read these books yet I highly recommend you check them out!

AOTD: My biggest standout memory from this year is my son graduating high school, and then in August sending him off to college and helping him get settled.
