The Same Bright Stars
The Same Bright Stars is one of those touching and sweet stories full of smalltown charm that will melt your heart.

I really like how the story dove into the idea of still finding yourself later in life. Jack had been running his families multigenerational restaurant his whole life, but it wasnโt really what he wanted, but rather what he felt obligated to do. As I read, I found this topic very realistic, along with how Jack dealt with it and all the emotions he was going through.
Now I know, I said this was a sweet story, but it does touch on difficult issues, but the way in which Joella wrote about these topics kept it on the lighter side and made it more heartwarming than heavy and tragic.

This is my first time reading one of Joellaโs books and I completely get the hype. Truly a beautiful story you are going to want to pick up!
Thank you, Scribner for this gifted copy in exchange for my honest opinions.
