Wow! I did not expect to fly through this book at the pace I did! The Shadow Girls is a propulsive story with a twisted plot, exciting nail biting scenes, and a beyond engaging mystery.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?

This is one of those books that just has everything you’re looking for when it comes to mysteries and thrillers. I was immediately hooked by the prologue and from there the story fluidly progressed and I was immediately transported to Burning Lake and in the midst of a possible serial killer hunt. The best part (other than the amazing atmosphere) is how involved I became in Natalie’s life along with the gruesome mysteries she was trying to solve.

𝗗𝗼 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿?

I had no idea this was the fourth book in the series when I picked it up, and I immediately started kicking myself for not reading this series in order. In order to really enjoy this book and fully understand what has been going on, you have to read the first three books in the series before starting this one, because, from what I’ve gathered, the last book ended in one heck of a cliffhanger in order to lead into this intense story. Plus, this will give you a better understanding of Natalie’s situation.

This was such a fast paced story, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough in order to see what was going to happen next.
