The True Love Bookshop

The True Love Bookshop is a romance with all Hallmark-ish vibes and an emphasis on both found and biological families. This is book 3 in the Summerset Lake series but can easily be read as a standalone. I had a wonderful time kicking off my summer with this book as a buddy read with Tonya, Toni, and Nina.

For me, summer is typically about a little lighter reading and this closed-door enemies to lovers really hit the spot. I found myself flying through the pages as Tess and River attempt to overcome some big hurdles in their past in order to grow their current relationship, and with a well-rounded supporting cast of characters and small-town vibes, the story becomes even more addicting and interesting. This is a no-brainer fun read about love, with some serious real-life issues.
