AOTD: We are going a bit stir crazy since itโs way too cold to be outside and too dangerous to really drive in it.
This weekend has been all about hiding inside from our deadly cold temperatures.
I loved having the time to relax, read, and curl up with my dogs, but we are all now starting to go stir crazy, and Monday is still gonna be deadly cold.
My goal for this month, and next month has been to eat the food out of our pantry and freezer while only buying fresh produce that I need. So lunch on Saturday was a yummy Gouda, thyme, apple, bacon, and honey grilled cheese sandwich.
This is my super easy to make gourmet yummy sandwich with tons of flavor. If you do make this, add the honey after the sandwich is finished.
Iโve also been hitting the dreadmill, so I donโt turn into a complete couch potato. Plus, Iโm one of those people who asked to meet with their body or start feeling really weird mentally. I spent this weekend walking through the Redwood Forest.
I also joined in readathon for the weekend, since I knew I was going to be inside and unable to really do anything. Yesterday I was able to finish Mister Hockey along with the audiobook version for Only if Youโre Lucky.
Saturday night I wanted a comfort movie to watch so I rented The Birdcage.
This morning, Iโm all curled up with the dogs and still hiding from the cold. I should be able to finish The Book of Fire In the next hour. This is quite unique format and emotional story.
