Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my latest reads, adventures in travel, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Weekend!

Weekend!

Thank you in publishers for these gifted books.

Riggs decided to hop back up on the bed this morning, take my blanket and make his own nest. I don’t blame him because it’s currently 52° and I left the windows open last night. Our house is a bit chilly, but I’m fine with that since we are getting into the 90s today.

I started these three books the other day and they are quite the reads!

𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 (Pub 9/6) - This is the perfect creepy story full of suspense and a winery with a very dark past. If you are looking for a book to add to your Spooktober stack, this one is a must.

The Hull family has owned the Gallows Hill Winery for generations. Their wine wins awards. Their business prospers. Their family thrives. People whisper that the curse has awakened once more.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘀 (Pub 9/13) - Oh how this story just hits your heart. From the beginning I’ve been cheering for the children and Swiss Red Cross staff as they work to save Jewish children from the Vichy and Nazis.

A poignant and ultimately triumphant novel based on the incredible true story of children who braved the formidable danger of guarded, wintry mountain passes in France to escape the Nazis,

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 - Finally! A book with women in my age group! @mamas_top_shelf and I are diving into this one together and I’m enjoying the laugh-out-loud moments.

At their milestone high school reunion, a group of friends make a pact to finally achieve their high school superlatives one way or another
