October Wrap-Up
Man did October blow by quickly! It feels like so much happened yet we didn’t really do anything.
In family life, Web competed at the North Dakota state cross country meet the other week, and he had another PR to end the season (came in 114 out of 244). We are just so proud of him and all the work he put into his season. Now he gets a little bit of a break before basketball season starts, and who knows how that’s going to go with Covid.
Both Kate and Riggs are now finally sleeping through the night but still getting up at 5:30 in the morning. Turns out I can get a lot of reading done very early in the morning hence the bigger stack of read books. The nice thing with the puppies housebroken and sleeping through the night we’re finally getting back to a normal routine in our house, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
In the world of books this has been a month full of just wonderful reads. There is no way I can choose one favorite since my top reads all invoked different emotions and made me think in different ways. Some books are not featured in this picture since they’re loaned out or digital. I also had a wonderful time participating in several buddy reads this month with some amazing #bookstagram ladies.
What was your favorite October read...or did you have more than one?
