Dead of Winter

Dead of Winter is an excellent fast-paced locked door thriller/horror story. I loved the cat and mouse chase, which led to me binging this book in less than 24 hours!

This is one of those books where I can’t really write much for a review without risking a spoiler, buuuuutttt here is what I can say…

From the very beginning this was a tense story full of suspense, and you could feel the fear leaping from the pages as the characters tried to figure out who was killing them off one by one.

I also loved the cinematic winter atmosphere combined with the grisly murders which kept me on the edge of my seat. It actually was nice to read about the deathly cold and nonstop snow as I sat at the pool in 90 degree temps.

If you are looking for a book that is full of palpable fear, atmospheric tension that will keep your heart pounding and keep you up late into the night reading because you JUST have to know what happens, then this book is for you!
