It’s finally the weekend! I don’t know about y’all, but this last week is one for the books, and I am so glad it’s finally over.

Today I am at home, relaxing and getting in some reading! I’ve got my coffee, books, and of course my pups are curled up with me too so I’m all set for a cozy and quiet morning.

📖Last year I fell in love with @pamelaandedward debut book and the whole cast of complex and diverse characters she created, so I know I am going to fall in love with her latest book 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 (Pub 2/21) and what I know will be a moving story.

𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: With a cast of compassionate, relatable characters, When the Moon Turns Blue is a poignant and timely novel about family, friendship, and what can happen when we discover that we don’t particularly like the people we love.

📖I have been flying through 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 since I picked it up. I cannot get over everything I have learned from this book dealing with the history of Canada’s history with women’s rights and also their reproductive rights. I am also so emotionally attached to the characters in the story and I know this is a book that’s going to leave me with a hangover. I only have a few chapters left so I know I’m finishing it this morning.

📖Today @jennyw_reads and I are starting 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗨𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻, and it looks like a book that I’m going to need a whole box of Kleenex for. My guess is that it will be a five star book for both of us.
