The Sweet Spot

The Sweet Spot was such a fun and heartwarming story full of quirky and endearing characters. Amy Poeppel has truly written a delightful and charming story filled with hope, discovery and redemption.

What appealed to you the most in this story?

I loved how this story focused on family, both blood and especially the found family aspect. The story itself is based on a misunderstanding and from there a very charming cast of characters come together to help each other in so many different ways.

How did you handle a large cast of characters?

This story has a large cast of memorable characters and seeing them come together through the good and the bad made this story the big hug it was. It took a few chapters for me to settle in and work out how everyone fit together, but after that I felt like I was right their living their chaotic, messy, hilarious, love filled lives, and I found myself falling in love with each of them.

How was the pace?

This story held a steady pace and I had so much fun reading it.

Do you recommend this book?

This story is just filled with so much heart and humor. I’m already missing the fun cast of characters and all their little quirks. You definitely have got to read this one, just so you can feel like you are part of their family too!
