October Wrap Up & Halloween
October was such a blessing here in North Dakota because normally we have snow and winter weather for the majority of of this month and instead we had temperatures in the 60s and 70s!
I also got to head back home to Ohio and visit my family for the first time in over a year.
It was so fun getting to see my nieces and nephews!
We also had a gorgeous and vibrant showing of the Northern Lights early in the month too.
With how busy I was, I didn’t get as much reading in but the books I read were just amazing!
You’ll notice that By Any Other Name is in my stack, but I don’t have it in my ratings. This is because I ended up DNFing it at halfway. Now, it was a wonderfully written book that was thoroughly researched and you can tell a lot of heart and soul was put into the writing. However, I just could not get into the story at all with its slower pace.

Halloween
I was super busy and didn’t get to bake for my Spin Class on Halloween so I stopped at Cherry On Top in Minot, ND and grab some triple chocolate cupcakes, and pumpkin whoopie pies for everyone.
When I got home, it was time to get everything together to pass out to trick-or-treaters! I love giving as many cool goodies for them as I can.
And my personal favorite is all the fun glow-in-the-dark bracelets!
I also got in a little reading while passing out goodies! Absolutely loving The Godmothers, and I can tell you, this is going on my favorites for this year.
