Today
At lunchtime, I headed out for an afternoon walk with Kate and Riggs.
15 minutes into our walk, we hit a wall of fresh skunk spray. I immediately got Kate leashed up because I know she likes to chase after animals. As soon as I started standing up, out waddles a skunk on the road. Iโm not sure what it was thinking knowing that thereโs a possible predator coming its way, or maybe the skunk just wanted to see true and petrifying fear in my eyes. I quickly turned around with the dogs, even though Kate was dead against it and hustled my butt in the opposite direction.
After dinner, I headed out for my solo walk and started listening to Killers of a Certain Age. I recently snagged this book from the library and Iโm going to alternate between the audio and physical. I got two hours into the book during my walk and I am really enjoying it and the characters.
