The Angel Maker

The Angel Maker is quite the departure from North’s previous two thrillers. I feel like this is a psychological mystery (if that’s not a thing I am making one) rather than a thriller but still has that darkness North is known for.

This is a story you will need to pay close attention to as you read due to the complexities of the story itself. North also didn’t do the greatest job distinguishing some of the characters, so also pay close attention there.

This was a slow burn with a lot of background until about the last quarter of the book.
