What appealed to you the most in this story?

I love a good neighborhood story filled with gossip, murder, mystery and The Block Party had all that and more! It was filled with suspense, which always hooks me, and badly behaving neighbors that take naughty to new levels. It’s really one of those train wrecks you just can’t look away from.

I also enjoyed how the plot of the book is skillfully crafted, with the narrative moving back and forth in time to slowly reveal the events leading up to the murder. As the story unfolds, the tension builds, and you are left guessing as to who is responsible for the death and why.

How was the pace?

This domestic drama was unputdownable with its lightning-fast plot!
