The Butcher & More

Thank you Gallery Books and Simon Audio for this gifted copy.

Holy WTF twisted and I could not get enough!! This is an absolute must read psychological thriller! I mean, you know that it’s going to be a wild and interesting ride when the first chapter opens, my jaw hits the ground and I immediately texted @mamas_top_shelf to tell her she has to read this book with me.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?

I can easily say everything, but I think it was the full cast of complex characters and how they increased the tension and suspense, along with all those situations that leave your jaw on the ground. I also just loved being in the moment in this story while following the characters and having absolutely no clue how it was all going to come together in the end.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁:

  • Full cast of characters

  • Holy WTF moments

  • Tension

  • Seattle

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲?

Fast! Kaley and I read this one together and we could not put it down, and I’m pretty sure we had our jaws hanging on the ground for the majority of the book.

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?

Yes!! This book is already going on my list of favorites for this year! Y’all have got to grab a copy of this wild and propulsive story! @jenniferhillierbooks is just a genius when it comes to creating interesting and layered characters, twisted plots, and a story that delivers one heck of a punch. Get this book now!! I also highly recommend all her others if you haven’t read them already!

💬𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲?

AOTD: I go there for work each year (the food and atmosphere is amazing in that city) and I also love traveling out to the Pacific Northwest for hiking.

Currently Listening

I have had You Had Me at Hola lingering in my tbr stack for a few years, so I’ve decided to pair it with the audio during my commute. So far it is a fun romcom with sweet characters.
