What an absolutely funny, adventurous, sappy, romantic story! I devoured this book in a little over a day, and hated to see it end as it had all the rom-com feelings and chemistry that I love.

When Graham Barnett named his diner The Tourist Trap, he meant it as a joke. Now he's stuck slinging reindeer dogs to an endless string of resort visitors who couldn't interest him less. Not even the sweet, enthusiastic tourist in the corner who blushes every time he looks her way…

Two weeks in Alaska isn't just the top item on Zoey Caldwell's bucket list. It's the whole bucket. One look at the mountain town of Moose Springs and she's smitten. But when an act of kindness brings Zoey into Graham's world, she may just find there's more to the man than meets the eye…and more to love in Moose Springs than just the Alaskan wilderness.

There were so many laugh out loud moments throughout this story as Zoey attempted to make the most of her Alaskan dream vacation. I really can’t begin to tell you the amount of times I had to set this book down, because I was laughing so hard. One time to run to the bathroom so I didn’t pee myself.

All the humorous moments kept the pace of the plot moving, but the full cast of characters are what brought this book home to my heart. They were there for each other, spunky and relatable. Basically they are the kind of people you want to hang out with, laugh with and share a cinnamon roll the size of your head with or maybe a Growly Bear (read the book to find out).

Most of all I could relate to Graham and his animosity towards the tourists. I lived near Orlando, Florida for over 10 years, and I too found myself cursing their horrible driving, clogging up traffic, walking up to alligators to get selfies and the general chaos they bring with them, so I was laughing right along with those parts of the story too.

For those of you curious about the romance part; the story and romance took place during only a two week period, but it did not feel rushed. It wasn’t a love at first sight kind of romance. It was a slow, sweet and steamy build - the kind built on friendship and trust.

I’m so glad I picked up this book, and I cannot wait to dive into book two of this series!

Bonus: Since we live in North Dakota and have quite a few moose (you’ll meet and fall in love with Ulysses the moose in the book), I snapped this picture the other day on my way to work for y’all.
