This Weekend
Thank you publishers for the gifted copies!
Today’s post is more of a Now and Next post, but they all revolve around the weekend, so I’m lumping them together.
#HouroftheWitch - I should finish this one up today. Bohjalian has written another exceptional book! This is a white knuckle read. I’m pretty sure my fingers have created permanent indentations from how intense this story and the emotions are.
#ATheaterforDreamers (pub: 5/11) - Another book I should finish today. I’ve enjoyed escaping to Greece in this story.
“Samson’s achingly beautiful depictions of the sun-soaked Greek paradise contrast strongly with the dark inner lives of its inhabitants. Tantalizing summer reading.”

#TheSummerofLostandFound (pub 5/11) - This story has really surprised me from the beginning. It is the first book I’ve read that incorporates covid into the storyline.
#GoodGirlBadBlood - I’m starting this one tonight with @thrillofthepage for our latest buddy read. I loved the first book, so I’m very excited for the latest installment.
#MeetMeInBombay - I start this book on Sunday with @jennyw_reads and we are both very curious about the story, so I know it will have us chatting away.
Vividly set against the backdrop of colonial India, a transporting tale of two lovers torn apart by the First World War.
#ThePerfectDaughter - May’s #SpontaneousGroupRead and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into this thriller and discuss it with such a great group of women.
#ThePlot (pub 5/11) - Looking forward reading what looks to be a very bingeable book!!
💬How are you relaxing this weekend? Any special plans for Mother’s Day?
