Weekend Reading

It’s the weekend after Thanksgiving, so for all us college football fans that means it’s Rivalry Weekend!

Last night my alma mater FSU beat the Gators and today we will cheer on my home state team Ohio State as they crush ❌ichigan/Team Up North!

I’m also reading a few books too!

I’m still reading 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 with @thesubstitutelibrarian and man does this book just hit ya with the emotions. It’s also one of those books you know is going to stay with you for life.

Last night I started 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 and flew through the first 150 pages. This YA fantasy is definitely living up to the hype.

Tomorrow my awesome Bookstateer ladies, @mamas_top_shelf and @thesubstitutelibrarian , and I are starting 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗱. We’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this thriller, and I’m definitely ready for a story full of suspense.

I’m also picking up 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗮 to help balance everything with a fun cozy mystery!

Yesterday

Friday was a calm and gorgeous day. We even got up into the 50s!

I stayed home and put this Creamy Gnocchi Soup with Rosemary Bacon in the crockpot for dinner. It was super easy and so flavorful!
