Weekend Reading
Happy Saturday everyone! This weekend I’ll be hibernating at home since winter has officially arrived. Right now it is currently 15° out so I’m curling up with my chai and books. I’m also doing a bit of cooking and baking, and I shared the links to recipes in my stories yesterday.
Last night I started reading 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗪𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 with @mamas_top_shelf and @thesubstitutelibrarian and OMG I am loving it! It’s fast paced (which y’all know I’m in desperate need of) and the sarcasm, banter, and characters are the best. I’m actually happy this is a super chunky book, because I know I’m not going to want to let go of this story anytime soon!
𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗿 - I have been flying through this story and love how it is based on the true stories of two female spies during World War II.
𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 - I am really looking forward to starting this historical fiction book on Sunday. Especially since I was a huge fan of Whittaker’s previous book, Millicent Glenn’s Last Wish.
💬 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱?
Yesterday
Yesterday I hit the grocery store with a long list since we have nasty weather for several days and it will keep us hunkered down at home. I planned all the meals out accordingly so check back to see what recipes I made as the weekend progresses!
