Currently Reading

Happy Saturday! I took the redeye home last night from Seattle, so this is definitely going to be a heavily caffeinated day or a day I fall asleep while watching college football. I was there for work, but still got to hit up my favorite coffee shop and a few bookstores.

I’m currently reading just a few books, but at least they are all different genres.

🏀I should finish 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘁 today. This has been quite the emotional and raw story, so I’ve had to take my time with it. Ryan really has a gift for writing real life and characters that make you feel everything right along with them. If you do plan on picking this book up, please read the trigger warnings.

👑I’m about halfway through 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁. It is an interesting story since it’s based on people in real life and the prince’s love child. However, I feel like I’m constantly waiting for something to happen in this slow burn story.

✨I grabbed 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝘄𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻 when I was book shopping in Seattle and immediately started it that night. Right now I’m about 100 pages into the story and I’m not finding this one as entertaining as the previous three books in the series.

👻For some odd reason, I thought it be a good idea to start a new book before I left so I only got about 30 pages into 𝗚𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿, but it’s definitely one I know I’m going to binge once I pick it back up.
