Pub Day!
Thank you publishers for the gifted copies of these books.
Happy Tuesday everyone! Tuesday is always a publishing day, and in our house it’s also always a baseball day. Tonight my son has a double header, and I just realized it’s also his last full week of school. Next week is finals, and then summer break. How is this possible!?!
💬Is time flying by faster you guys right now?
Several excellent books come out today! I’ve already dove into these five books and have reviews coming shortly or already posted. Here are some quick synopses:
The Plot - Hailed as "breathtakingly suspenseful," Jean Hanff Korelitz’s The Plot is a propulsive read about a story too good not to steal, and the writer who steals it.
That Summer - From the manicured Main Line of Philadelphia to the wild landscape of the Outer Cape, written with Jennifer Weiner’s signature wit and sharp observations, That Summer is a story about surviving our pasts, confronting our futures, and the sustaining bonds of friendship.
Girl In the Walls - A mesmerizing and suspenseful coming-of-age novel about an orphan hiding within the walls of her former family home—and about what it means to be truly seen after becoming lost in life.
The Summer of Lost and Found - A novel following the Rutledge family as they face a summer of upheaval and change with perseverance, unity, and a dose of humor, discovering unexpected joys and lessons that will endure long past the season.
A Theater for Dreamers - A coming-of-age story which slyly interrogates the creative battle of the sexes while transporting you to the beauty of a Greek island in summer.
