Weekend Reading

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone has a fun weekend coming their way. It’s currently -7° here, so I’m staying snuggled up this morning in my sweatpants and grabbing one of my current books.

I’m a huge Nora Roberts fan and her books have been my guilty pleasures for years! I recently started 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 and I’m already 1/3 of the way into it and loving the male MC and can’t wait to see where his life goes…and of course what romance will develop!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆…Yeah…I’m reading this with @mamas_top_shelf and I’m waaaaayyyy behind. So far this police procedural has put me to sleep twice and I’m only up to page 100. Plus the story is really choppy and doesn’t flow well. I know this one has been getting rave reviews sooooo…When does it get interesting, because I’m about to DNF.

I am FINALLY reading 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗬𝗲𝘀 starting tomorrow with @jennyw_reads for our monthly buddy read. This is a book I have been dying to read after all the amazing reviews and I’m so excited to pick it up!

Somehow I got lucky and 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁 was just sitting there on the shelf when I was at the library so of course I had to snag it! I’m starting it today with @mamas_top_shelf and I have a feeling we’re really going to like it.
