I was recently tagged by the wonderful @on_a_sandbar to see what Iโm #currentlyreading and I have just a few books Iโm in the middle of or just finishing up. Iโm really into and enjoying all but one of these books...Can you guess which one?
๐ฌ What about you? What are you reading this week? Anything that I should drop what Iโm doing and pick up?โฃ
ACOWAR - Book 3 of the ACOTAR series is definitely just as fast paced and engaging as the previous books. Iโm so lucky to be reading this series with @barkfurbooks as weโve both agreed with the hype surrounding this series. I highly recommend the series if you havenโt jumped on the bandwagon yet!
The One - Iโm currently finishing this book today as a buddy read with @jennyw_reads for our monthly read. Talk about a fast paced, twisted story, told from multiple points of view. If youโre looking for a quick read that you wonโt want to put down then this is your book!
From Blood and Ash - Iโm trying with all my might to finish this book as @mamas_top_shelf and I try to discover what the hype is with this book. Yโall reading this book is torture. I would have DNFed this bugger awhile ago, but I keep expecting to have it miraculously turn into a great read, since it won best romance of 2020 on GoodReads. Instead, all Iโve discovered is that I could skip pages 100 to 400 and miss really next to nothing.
The Lost Letter - This is a story full of heartbreak and tragedy, but it is also a story about love and life. Iโm finding this WWII historical fiction book quite uplifting as I approach the final pages. This was an addicting novel that captures the power of love.
The Divines - Pub: 1/19. Iโm picking this book up tonight and Iโm quite excited. Suspenseful, provocative, and compulsively readable, The Divines is a scorching examination of the power of adolescent sexuality, female identity, and the destructive class divide. Exposing the tension between the lives we lead as adults and the experiences that form us, Eaton probes us to consider how our memories as adults compel us to reexamine our pasts.
What Could Be Saved - This moving and heartbreaking story lives up to the hype!
