This truly moving story is based on Sophie Kinsella own life and experiences as she experienced being diagnosed with a brain tumor and everything that followed. Therefore, I don’t believe in rating memoirs (this is a fictionalization version in ways) since this is someone telling their story while being vulnerable (everyone deserves 5 stars for that), and therefore I have no right to critique or have an opinion. Instead, I prefer to share how I felt while reading.

Damn! I’m just absolutely speechless and bawling my eyes out. Pretty sure I can’t even put into words how I experienced this story in all its depth, but I will try.

This book was just everything and so powerful. From the first chapter I was absorbed into the story and was right there experiencing everything along with the family. So, of course I didn’t even set it down (not even for a potty break) and I read it in one sitting.

AOTD: Tilly has her annual vet appointment (1 hour drive from my home) and we have some snow and wet roads, so I’m a bit nervous.

Life

Yesterday afternoon a wonderful (note sarcasm) snowstorm started and went straight through the night, so it’s time for everyone’s favorite game!

I’m definitely not going anywhere today, so it’s time to bake up a storm!
