I Need You To Read This is a truly entertaining, twisty and at times heart pounding mystery that I found easy to binge.

As with most mysteries I pick up, I went into this completely blind and I am so glad I did.

I was completely captivated by the murder mystery and even more by the cast of characters with a full range of their own issues. However, the FMC, Alex, was my favorite. She came to NYC as a young woman hoping to rebuild her life, after a toxic past that lefter her filled with anxiety, and found herself in a job made for her: an advice columnist.

Carlotta Brentan did an amazing job fully bringing this story to life while adding a sense of foreboding that thoroughly kept me on the edge of my seat as to what could happen next, and how the mystery would be solved.

I listened to this whole book during a road trip home from helping my son move into his apartment. It made my drive completely fly by!

AOTD: I got myself an açaí bowl on Tuesday for lunch and I’m already craving another one.

Currently

Somehow I yet again have picked up multiple books to read at the same time.

So far, I am really enjoying all of these except for Square of Sevens. So far it’s reading like an old Dickinson classic yet even slower. Just not sure if this one’s going to be for me.

I’m also alternating between the audiobook and physical book for Red River Road. From the beginning, I’ve really been into this story, especially since last year I got hooked on following #VanLife travelers.
